    Shanghai Wo Hired Balenciaga Former European President As General Manager Of Carven.

    Last year, the Shanghai fashion group, which acquired the Carven of France's senior women's clothing brand, announced the appointment of Ms. Daphn Cousineau as the general manager of Carven brand, which is responsible for the restart of the brand.

    Previously, Daphn e Cousineau was president of the European region under Balenciaga, a brand of Kai Yun group. After the accession of Daphn Cousineau to Carven, the primary task is to help restart the Carven brand and expand the global market, especially the Chinese market.

    Daphn E. Cousineau graduated from University of Montreal in 1992 and worked as a lawyer after graduation. In 1995, he entered McKinsey as a senior project manager. In 2002, he entered Vivian global group as the head of digital media marketing and empowerment project.

    In 2005, Daphn e Cousineau began to enter the luxury industry as the director of wholesale and franchise business of LVMH group's brand Celine (CELINE). In 2007, he joined the French subsidiary of Italy luxury goods company Valentino (Valentino) as general manager. He left Valentino in 2014 and joined the French fashion brand Lanvin (Lang Fan) as global sales director. In 2017, he joined the open cloud group as president of Balenciaga Europe.

    Since the acquisition of Carven by French subsidiary ICICLE PARIS MODE in 2018, Shanghai Wo Wo has been committed to revitalize Carven's brand influence in France, China and the international market. Previously, the Shanghai Wo Group has announced plans to open 40 Carven stores in China within the next two years.

    After leaving last creative director Serge Ruffieux, Carven has been looking for a new creative director. Now the design team is responsible for the design work. Its first series, the 2019 / 2020 autumn winter dress series is now completed and will be on sale this fall. The channels include 4 single brand stores in Carven in France (3 in Paris, 1 in Cannes), Carven online sales platform, and a series of new stores to be opened in China.     About Carven

    In 1945, Ms. Carven, 34 years old, opened the Carven with the same name in the Champs Elysees of Paris. By virtue of its refreshing, relaxed and practical design style, Carven soon struck a sensation among young women and was favored by many celebrities such as Leslie Caron, Martine Carol and so on. In 1995, the 84 year old lady Carven announced her withdrawal from fashion design, focusing on the collection of old furniture and antiques.

    In 2008, French businessman Henri Sebaoun joined the private equity fund Turenne Capital to buy Carven and sold its perfume business to perfume manufacturer Jacques Bogart; in 2011, Hongkong luxury goods Agency Bluebell blue clock Group acquired a minority of Carven.

    In 2015, Carven managed to make profits under the leadership of Guillaume Henry, the design director, with sales of 45 million euros. However, with the departure of Guillaume Henry, Carven's performance was in sharp decline.

    In 2016, the blue bell group realized the complete holding of Carven brand; the chairman of blue bell group Michel Goemans gave Carven to daughter Sophie de Rougemont management, but after only two years of operation, she immediately decided to stop her financial support for Carven and start selling.

    In May 2018, Carven filed for bankruptcy protection.

    In the autumn of 2018, Shanghai Wo Group formally announced the acquisition of Carven.
