China Textile Alliance Promotes The Heritage Development Of Wen Fu Integrated Textiles

Sun Huaibin, vice president of the China Textile Industry Federation, said at a news conference at the third China Textile intangible cultural heritage conference held recently in Beijing that the China Textile Federation will increase the excavation of textile intangible heritage resources and promote the integration of Wen and tourism, so as to inject new impetus to the protection and innovation of traditional textile culture and traditional skills.

In the traditional handicraft techniques already published by the state, there are many categories of textiles, covering a wide range and rich in variety, including textile, dyeing, weaving, embroidery and other traditional crafts and various ethnic costumes. With the development of the textile and apparel industry chain towards the high-end, these traditional handicrafts have been inherited and innovating in the development of modern industry, and have added bright colors to the development of high quality industries.

Sun Huaibin said that the China Textile Federation will increase the excavation of textile intangible heritage resources, explore ways and means in innovation, correctly reflect the value of intangible heritage, and promote the fashion, industrialization and internationalization of heritage.

Sun Huaibin said that the third China Textile Heritage Convention, sponsored by the China Federation of textile industry, will be held in Kunming, Yunnan in early November 2019. The purpose is to explore the integration and development of textile heritage and cultural tourism, and promote the creation of a number of high-quality cultural products with local characteristics and excellent traditional textile culture and exquisite workmanship. The conference will include non heritage experience, theme forums, costumes and other links.
