The price of seed cotton purchased by a factory is 3.25 yuan / kg (lint 36-37%, moisture below 10%), the processed lint is mostly 4, and the factory price is 14000 yuan / ton, which is 200 yuan / ton lower than that of the beginning of the week. Because the local oil and cotton plant starts to operate at a relatively high rate, cotton seeds are more sought after, and the factory price quoted is 1.16-1.17 yuan / Jin, which is 0.01 yuan / Jin higher than that at the beginning of the week.
According to the manufacturer, recently, lint has little interest. In order to timely shipment and attract procurement, manufacturers have no choice but to reduce the price of lint. The resumption of the Sino US trade talks brings some hope to the textile mills. However, the two countries have a long way to go to negotiate. It takes time for them to reach a goal, and there are many uncertain factors in the future. The yarn is still no improvement. The textile mill has not enough purchasing power, and the procurement quantity is limited.
Because of the low seed cotton price, the cotton farmers' income is not good, and the cotton planting is time-consuming and laborious. In recent years, the cotton planting area in Jiaxiang has gradually decreased, and more crops such as capsicum and corn have been replaced. At present, the local cotton grows well, and the bell branches are full of branches, and each peach plant is 4-6, and the branches and leaves are green. If there is no big change in the late weather, the harvest is in sight. Cotton farmers are looking forward to a new start in the new year.
