British media said Boris Johnson repeatedly refused to rule out the adjournment of Parliament to try to implement its "off Europe" policy.

According to the British Guardian website reported on August 26th, at the press conference held at the end of the G-7 summit, the British Prime Minister was repeatedly asked what he would do if the members tried to obstruct his policies, and he refused to rule out the possibility of closing the parliament.

He said: "I think for members of Parliament, this is actually an accurate understanding of their own problems. We let the people vote to decide whether to stay or withdraw from the European Union; most of them voted to quit.

"I think people have had enough of this kind of discussion. They are eager to see the news of" off Europe "on the front page of the national newspaper, and only when we withdraw from the EU in October 31st will this happen, which is what I asked my legislators to do.

When asked if he would try to force him to take action, he said, "I think it is the responsibility of every member of Parliament to solve this problem."

When asked whether he was considering the adjournment of Parliament, he said: "I believe members will do the right thing and fulfill their commitment to the people of this country."

Johnson said he was "slightly more optimistic" about the prospect of reaching an agreement after the weekend of the French G-7 summit, but added: "I remember that the statistical estimates I gave, whether one million to one or anything, depend entirely on the willingness of our friends and partners to compromise on the key points and to abandon the safeguards clause."

Johnson avoided a new dispute with the EU leaders at the summit. The news that President Tusk of the European Council agreed to meet him again next month has encouraged Downing street.
