The Sixth China India Strategic Economic Dialogue Was Held In New Delhi, India.
In September 9th, the Sixth China India strategic economic dialogue and the Sino Indian Economic Cooperation Forum jointly organized by the China National Development and Reform Commission and the India state transformation Commission were held in New Delhi, India. During the dialogue session, China and India reviewed and summarized the progress of each working group, and exchanged views on issues such as macroeconomic situation and bilateral pragmatic cooperation, and reached a series of consensus. India has put forward a grand goal of "building a US $5 trillion economy in 5 years" and the two sides are developing in the same direction. China and India will work together to help develop each other and contribute to peace, stability and prosperity in Asia and the world at large. Since the establishment of the China India strategic economic dialogue mechanism, a number of departments and major financial institutions and enterprises have been actively involved, and a series of achievements have been achieved. The working group continued to strengthen communication and liaison, in-depth exchange of views in policy coordination, infrastructure, energy saving, environmental protection, high technology, energy and medicine, and reached a new consensus on cooperation. Looking forward to the future, China and India should embrace wider development opportunities and expand cooperation in a wider range to seek mutual benefits and win-win results. We will continue to strengthen policy communication, strengthen complementary advantages, deepen pragmatic cooperation in various fields, promote specific projects and enhance the sense of cooperation between China and India. The Indian side said that cooperation between China and India will give strong impetus to the prosperity and stability of the world, and strengthen the interaction and interaction between the two governments, enterprises and people, so as to build strong and dynamic bilateral relations. The Indian side welcomes Chinese enterprises to further invest in India, hoping to learn from Chinese enterprises' experience in advanced manufacturing, human resources, business management and so on, and strengthen cooperation between the two sides in manufacturing, service, tourism and circular economy.
China's national development and Reform Commission, Ministry of foreign affairs, Ministry of Commerce, Energy Bureau, Railway Bureau, some local provinces and municipalities, India national transformation Committee, Ministry of foreign affairs, Ministry of railways, Ministry of electronic information, Ministry of housing and urban affairs, Ministry of Commerce and industry, Ministry of water resources, Ministry of electricity, new energy and renewable energy, oil and gas department, energy efficiency Bureau, medicine department, a total of about 100 people attended the dialogue. The Chinese and Indian companies participate in the forum and exchange discussions on infrastructure, high technology, energy conservation, environmental protection, energy, medicine and other fields, and sign a number of cooperation documents.
The China India strategic economic dialogue mechanism was established in December 2010. The Chinese side is led by the national development and Reform Commission. The Indian side is led by the state transformation Commission, with six working groups, namely policy coordination, infrastructure, high technology, energy conservation, environmental protection, energy, medicine and so on. It is an important platform for the two sides to exchange macroeconomic policies and promote practical cooperation. The first five dialogues were held in Beijing and New Delhi in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018 respectively.
