Association Dynamics: China Cotton Association Has Held The Fifth Five Board Enlargement Meeting.

In October 9, 2019, the 2019 China Cotton Textile Conference and the fifth annual enlargement meeting of the Chinese cotton textile industry association were held in Wuhan. On the meeting, Li Jie, Secretary General of the China Cotton Textile Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the China Cotton Association), on behalf of the China Cotton Trade Association, gave the Fifth Council five working report on the work of the Fifth Committee.


From six aspects, Secretary Li Jie showed the achievements and achievements made by China Cotton Association in promoting the healthy development of the industry. The main contents are as follows:


In depth study and understanding of Xi Jinping's new socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics, conscientiously implement the "three sessions and one lesson" system, carry out the theme education of "never forget the original mind, remember the mission", and carry out activities to welcome the 70th anniversary of the founding of new China.


Based on the development of the industry, we must do a good job in industry research. Through investigation, we can grasp the development trend of the industry in time, and provide support for the construction of information statistics platform, service cluster, brand and base construction.


Voice for the industry, put forward reasonable policy recommendations. Entrusted by the national development and Reform Commission, the enterprises that applied for cotton import quotas were verified on the spot. In view of cotton quota related work and cotton system reform to the relevant departments put forward written comments and suggestions. In response to the rapid rise in production costs, a number of reports were submitted to the NDRC, calling for tax cuts and cost reductions for cotton textile enterprises.


We should intensify efforts to launch various activities in the industry to promote new technologies, new processes and new products. A number of industry standards will be considered, and the project approval and release will be completed. Cooperate with external units to complete the revision of vocational skills standards in many countries.


China Cotton Association has participated in the 2019 China International yarn and textile exhibition, 2019 China Zhangcha textile raw materials, yarn and fabric conference and exhibition. As one of the sponsors, it has jointly established the CV alliance; organized enterprises to go to Central Asia, Africa and Europe for multinational research and survey, summarize overseas investment experience and lessons, and promote precise docking.


Since 2019, the new spinning technology of Specialized Committee, spinning equipment application technology Specialized Committee, color weaving Specialized Committee, textile sizing and Specialized Committee have been set up by China Cotton Association, and nearly ten meetings have been held around various professional fields, aiming at solving the business problems and promoting the high quality development of the industry.


At the meeting, 12 members were added to the membership, including 5 additional members, 6 members of the vice presidents and 6 members of the vice presidents. The motion on the merger of the new spinning technology of Specialized Committee and the application of the spinning equipment to Specialized Committee was discussed. The motion on changing the "denim Specialized Committee" to "denim sub committee" was put forward. The motion concerning the request to change the "color cloth Specialized Committee" to "color weaving branch" was carried out. The four motion on the rectification of cotton trade in the China cotton textile industry association was released. The financial report of the five meeting of the Fifth Committee of the China Cotton Association was released, and it was unanimously adopted by the on-site directors.


Secretary General Li Jie also reported to the delegates on the key work plan of the association in 2020, and indicated that in the future work, the China Cotton Association will continue to pay attention to the development of the industry, tap the bright spots and pain points, and promote the industrial progress with the broad masses of members. I believe that under the guidance of Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and under the guidance of the Federation of China textile industry, China's cotton textile industry will usher in new changes, new developments and new faces.
