Improvement of low temperature folding resistance


Ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) foams have the advantages of light weight, cushioning, seismic resistance, stress cracking and aging resistance. They are often blended with other plastics, and are relatively mature in production and processing technology. They are commonly used materials for foaming protective devices. Therefore, they are the main components of special knee pads and elbow protectors. Three yuan ethylene propylene rubber (EPDM) has relatively small relative density, excellent cold resistance, wear resistance, compression deformation and ozone resistance, good tear resistance, low temperature and good elasticity. Olefin block copolymer can enhance the compression deformation resistance and wear resistance of materials at high and low temperatures. Therefore, a suitable amount of EPDM and olefin block copolymers can be blended with EVA to improve the flexural properties of the materials at low temperature.


Improvement of tear resistance


In order to improve the tear resistance of the finished products, play a good protective performance and prolong the service life, the tear resistance is improved mainly from two aspects. One is blending three EPR with excellent tear resistance. The two is knitted fabric knitted with a layer of deformability and good wear resistance on the outside of EVA foam material.


Permeability improvement


EVA foam material has poor air permeability. It can increase the air fluidity of the protective part by ensuring that the air holes are flued and grooved on the kneecap and elbow.


Improvement of cohesion


First, the three-dimension structure of the kneecap and elbow protector should be fitted with the curve of the human knee and elbow to provide good fit for officers and soldiers and achieve precise earthquake mitigation. The elbow size ratio is different from that of the kneecap and distinguishes between male and female size.
