Ningbo'S Total Import And Export Volume Was 681 Billion 10 Million Yuan In The First Three Quarters, An Increase Of 6.8% Over The Same Period Last Year.

In October 17th, according to the latest statistics of Ningbo customs, the total import and export volume of Ningbo in Zhejiang in the first three quarters amounted to 681 billion 10 million yuan (RMB, the same below), which increased by 6.8% compared with the same period last year. Among them, 236 billion 890 million yuan was imported, an increase of 4.3%, an export of 444 billion 120 million yuan, an increase of 8.2%, and a cumulative trade surplus of 207 billion 230 million yuan.


Private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises, as the main force of import and export in Ningbo, imported and exported 459 billion 510 million yuan and 170 billion 130 million yuan respectively, which increased by 10.7% and 0.2% respectively, accounting for 92.5% of the total import and export volume of Ningbo in the same period.


At present, private enterprises are still the main force of Ningbo's foreign trade, and the vitality of foreign trade is increasing. The import and export volume of the whole year continues to lead other enterprises, accounting for 67.5% of the total import and export volume of Ningbo in the same period, representing a 2.4 percentage point increase over the same period last year.


Ningbo customs data show that Ningbo's growth in imports and exports to major markets such as the European Union, ASEAN and Japan is higher than the overall growth rate of imports and exports along the "one belt and one road" countries. In the first three quarters, the EU was the largest trading partner of Ningbo, and the total trade volume of Ningbo and Europe was 141 billion 390 million yuan, an increase of 4.6%, accounting for 20.8% of the total foreign trade value of Ningbo in the same period.


The United States and ASEAN are Ningbo's second and third largest trading partners, with 105 billion 890 million yuan and 70 billion 470 million yuan in imports and exports, respectively, down 8.6% and 22.3% respectively.


It is worth noting that with the development of new markets in Ningbo, the first three quarters of the "along the way" along the country's imports and exports of 193 billion 150 million yuan, an increase of 16.9%, higher than the same period in Ningbo's import and export growth of 10.1 percentage points, accounting for 28.4% of the total import and export value of Ningbo in the same period.
