HUAWEI Peng Bo: Talks With Some American Telecom Companies About 5G Technology Licensing.

HUAWEI's senior vice president, Bloomberg said earlier that HUAWEI was negotiating with some US telecommunications companies to discuss the issue of authorizing 5G network technology.

Bloomberg said that some companies had consulted with HUAWEI, and they were interested in reaching a long-term agreement or a one-off transfer agreement. However, the dialogue has only begun for several weeks, and is still in its early stage. It has not reached the point of detailed discussion, and there is still a long way to go to reach a final agreement. But Bloomberg did not disclose the names and quantities of these companies.

According to relevant media, HUAWEI founder Ren Zhengfei said in an interview recently that the company is fully open to technology and is willing to license 5G patents to US companies in a fair and non discriminatory manner. This will help HUAWEI ease international relations, and also increase its competitors, forcing companies to move forward.

Ren Zhengfei said that the market of information society in the future will be very broad, and there is still more room to accommodate the competition and service of many large companies and tens of millions of small companies.
