Gome And Samsung Signed 5 Billion Cooperation Involving Smart Home Solutions
At the second China International Import fair Beijing thematic event, Gome retail Holdings Limited and Samsung (China) Investment Co., Ltd. jointly signed 5 billion purchase orders, and the two sides reached strategic cooperation on smart home solutions, commodity differentiation and customization.
According to the relevant media, the 5 billion scale purchase of Gome and Samsung includes commodities such as large size TV, multi door refrigerator, large capacity washing machine and other fields leading consumption upgrading. In the future, Gome and Samsung will play their respective resources and advantages, providing consumers with the whole house smart home solution in the era of 5G, and comprehensively lead the new trend of smart home life.
Lin Cheng, vice president of Gome retail, said: "this time, Gome will focus its cooperation on intelligent life and the whole family smart home solution. With the 5G commercial landing, 5G applications will be a major breakthrough. China immediately entered the era of Internet of things, the smart home industry is expected to show explosive growth.
Statistics show that, at the first fair, Gome signed a procurement agreement with several famous international brands such as Swiss LAURASTAR, GE, Liebherr, and iRobot, to deepen cooperation.
