Japanese Sports Brand Asics Acquisition Race Roster Online Platform
Asics Corporation announced the acquisition of a Race Roster, an online platform specializing in running competitions. Race Roster will be included in the product portfolio of Asics Digital, focusing on the consumer's running platform. As part of the agreement, Asics set up a new overseas subsidiary in Canada called Race Roster North America.
The Race Roster platform was established in 2012, and is currently the world leader in event registration, helping millions of athletes find and participate in running and endurance competitions, while providing active organizers with strong customer relationship management (Customer Relatio). Nship Management (CRM) tool is used to track participants' data, marketing activities and activities revenue.
Through the acquisition of Race Roster, Asics can subvert the running industry. It can fully meet the needs of runners, event directors and running communities through the provision of world class event management system, quality brand sponsorship and marketing, as well as enhancing the participants' competitive day experience.
