Help Application Creative Talents Training "Red And Green Cup" University Textile Design Competition Held

　　 Recently, the "red and green cup" Eleventh China University Textile Design Competition award ceremony was held in Shaoxing Keqiao District long hair commercial center. Jiang Shicheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, Ni Yangsheng, President of the China Textile and clothing education association, and a number of industry experts, university leaders and award-winning teachers and students from more than 30 universities across the country attended the Award Presentation Conference.

　　 At the awards ceremony, guests from various walks of life came to the stage to deliver speeches. From their own field of expertise, they made many constructive suggestions for the tournament. At the same time, they fully recognized the role of this competition in improving the level of fabric design and new product development, excavating and recommending the outstanding creative power of the new generation in the Chinese textile industry, creating the national textile design and development teaching achievement and the academic exchange platform for university students. 　

　　 It is understood that the China University textile design competition, as an important national specialty characteristic competition, is jointly sponsored by the China Textile and clothing education association and the State Education Ministry's textile professional teaching steering committee under the guidance of the Federation of Chinese textile industry. The Shaoxing Keqiao economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee and Shaoxing University jointly undertake the project. Since its inception in 2009, the competition has been highly valued by the people's Government of Keqiao District of Shaoxing and the relevant universities. It has been supported by Zhejiang Yue long Holdings Limited, Zhejiang red and blue textile printing and dyeing Co., Ltd. and China Textile Institute (Zhejiang) Technology Research Institute Limited.

　　 This competition is based on the theme of "technology, fashion and quality life" and the competition principle of "voluntary participation, demonstration of strength, fair competition, and level of competition", which shows the teaching level of teaching practice, curriculum design and graduation design of Chinese textile higher education, and actively advocates advanced and practical training mode of applied talents. 　

　　 According to past practice, there are five groups in the contest: "knitted fabric design", "woven fabric design", "home textile decorative fabric design", "fabric flower design" and "fiber art and material reengineering design". Since May 2019, the document has been launched in a positive way, and by September 30, 2019, 1919 entries have been collected, attracting the active participation of the student teams from 47 universities in China. 　

　　 The appraisal expert team has unanimously identified that three works from the Shaoxing University, such as "mushroom dreams" (designers: Ming Lin, Song Chenxi, Jin Liangjie), Xi'an Polytechnic University's "sky stars" (designers: Xue Sitao, Zuo Renjie, Li Wei) and "Zhu dyed" (Designer: Ren Yanbo), won the first prize; the 52 runes from the Zhejiang Sci-Tech University (Designer: Fei Fei, Jie, and Lu) won the first prize in each category, 10 institutions in Soochow University and so on won the best organizational unit award, and 107 teachers, such as Jingmiao Lei and so on, won the excellent teacher award. 　

　　 Evaluation experts generally believe that the entries can fully reflect the students' jumping thinking and divergent thinking. Each entry has its own unique creativity and sparkle. Especially in the application and structural innovation of new materials, many works even have the feasibility of large production and the value of marketing. 　

　　 The textile design competition of Chinese universities has successfully held eleven sessions as of today. This is of great significance not only to the formation of each participant's own innovative thinking mode, but also to the cultivation of applied creative talents. Moreover, from the previous entries, especially the award-winning works, the higher education and textile industries also see that the inspiration and design ability of contemporary Chinese university students are emerging and burst, and gradually become a powerful promoter in promoting the upgrading and upgrading of traditional industries and designing and enhancing the value of products.
