The Five Regions Of Nantong Were Selected As The "National Textile Industrial Cluster Pilot".

Reporters yesterday from the city market supervision bureau was informed that the five regions of our city by the China Textile Industry Federation recognized as the national textile industry cluster pilot area. Among them, Haimen Industrial Park and Tongzhou District were awarded the title of "China's textile industry base city" and "China's home textile city". Haian was awarded the title of "China's textile industry base city". Tongzhou District Chuan Chuan town and Tongzhou District Xianfeng street were awarded the title of "China's home textile town" and "Chinese yarn dyed town".

As one of the famous textile towns and textile and garment export bases in China, Nantong enjoys strong production scale advantages and advantages of regional industrial clusters. After years of development, the textile and garment industry system of home textile, chemical fiber, cotton textile (dyeing and weaving), printing and dyeing, wool textile, knitting, clothing, cocoon and silk has been gradually formed, and high-end textile has become one of the three pillar industries in our city.

As of 2018, the city had 1054 high-end textile enterprises above Designated Size, and realized the current price value of 220 billion 780 million yuan, up 9.8% from the same period last year, accounting for 15.5% of the city's above scale industries, and the main business income of 218 billion 830 million yuan, accounting for 23% of the province's total, an increase of 9.9% over the same period. The profit reached 17 billion 110 million yuan, accounting for 33% of the province's total, up 15.5% from the same period last year.

In order to promote the cluster development of textile industry clusters, our city has set up a high-end textile industry alliance, and has set up an industry expert group consultant team to discuss the industrial development path through organizing the high quality textile development path exchange meeting, the China Textile Quality Conference and the textile industry (Home Textiles) quality improvement conference. Zhang Jian cup, China's international home textile design competition, which has been held for the 14 time in succession, has become one of the largest, the highest level and the most influential design international competitions in China.

Through the construction of industrial clusters, the automation, digitalization and intelligentization of textile industry in our city have been continuously improved, and the innovative capability of textile cluster has been continuously enhanced. The textile enterprises in our city have accumulated a total of 31 national standards, 131 industry standards, 2 provincial level standards, 3 provincial standards, and 3 Chinese Textile Association standards. The Nantong Textile Industry Association has issued 29 group standards, and Jiangsu gold sun technology company and Hai Hui technology company have emerged as the "standard leaders".

It is reported that China Textile Industry Federation has launched the pilot work of textile industrial cluster since 2002, and signed a joint agreement with the pilot area. The selected areas are mainly the textile industry with relatively complete industrial chain, prominent product characteristics, planning objectives, development measures and incentive policies, and have potential for sustainable development.
