The Second Zhihui Textile Design Competition Brings Wearable Unlimited Creativity.

ShanghaiTex 2019 invited junior college students and young designers to participate in the second session of WTTDC textile design competition 2019 months ago, and put forward the idea of integrating the wearable technology with textiles to design an intelligent textile that can improve human life. In November 25th, the finals were held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center and the nineteenth Shanghai International Textile Industry Exhibition (Shanghai Textile Machinery Exhibition ShanghaiTex 2019). The four teams took the stage to demonstrate their wearable designs.

The design of the four team final team was shown in the exhibition board of W5 spinning department during the Shanghai textile machinery exhibition.

This WTTDC 2019 invites miss Zhou Keyi, manager of materials and precision engineering group of Hongkong science and Technology Park (HKSTP), Mr. Guo Zhixiong, founder of KnitWarm, and Lin Kaiming, co founder of unspun as competition review.

The first group of participants won the award of excellence in the design of "smart swimsuit".

The third group of participants won the third place in the design of "nickel zinc battery flexible fabric".

The fourth groups were runner up in the design of intelligent thermo sensitive heating clothing.

The second group of participants won the championship in the design of "intelligent heating fabric".

The success of the second Chi Hui Textile Design Competition (WTTDC 2019) is due to the enthusiastic participation of the judges and the excellent performance of the teams. We hope that the next WTTDC will have a bright and wearable design.
