Hermes Will Build Logistics Distribution Center In Weyhe.
December 4th, according to foreign media reports, Hermes German company will build a new logistics distribution center near Bremen City, which is located at Weyhe, about 15 km south of Bremen. It plans to start operation in October 2020 and handle more than 50 thousand goods per day.
It is understood that Hermes German company has built 3 logistics centers in Hamburg, Leipzig and graven this year. The Weyhe center, which invested tens of millions of euros, is part of Hermes's 300 million euro infrastructure investment plan to expand its global logistics network. Recently, the new high performance logistics center will become the parcel transfer center in the area. More than 100 employees will handle the package.
Hermes German company official said, Weyhe's new logistics distribution center has great strategic significance for the company. Through the new center, the company will provide faster and more effective logistics services for Bremen and its surrounding areas. In addition, the company's sustainable building concept and electric vehicle charging infrastructure planning are very forward-looking. At the beginning of the operation of the centre, at least 10 electric vehicles will be used for distribution, so as to achieve zero emissions.
