Nantong'S Textile Enterprises Were Fined 300 Thousand Yuan For Exceeding The Standard Discharge Of Water Pollutants.

According to the information of Nantong Ecological Environment Bureau, in November 6, 2019, the bureau investigated and dealt with a textile enterprise with illegal environment. The enterprise was punished by administrative penalty of 300 thousand yuan for discharging pollutants.

From the contents of the public decision on the circular penalty (2019) 20 administrative penalty, the illegal enterprise is a textile enterprise named Nantong Shu Hua Jie textile printing and Dyeing Group Co., Ltd. located in the Haian Industrial Park of Jiangsu province. The illegal fact discovered is the super standard discharge water pollutant.

In August 5, 2019, the local Environmental Protection Bureau law enforcement officers on the spot inspection of Nantong Shu Hua Jie textile printing and Dyeing Group Co., Ltd.was in production. On the same day, the staff of Haian environmental monitoring station took a sample of water at the company's total sewage outlet. After monitoring and analysis, the chemical oxygen demand concentration of water sample was 241mg/L, the chroma was 160, and the sulphide concentration was 0.605 mg/L, which exceeded 0.20 times, 1 times and 0.21 times of the indirect emission standards stipulated in Table 2 of the water pollutants discharge standard for textile dyeing and finishing industry (GB 4287-2012).

The law enforcement department of Nantong ecological environment finds that the above act of the company violates the relevant provisions of the tenth law of the People's Republic of China water pollution prevention act, and constitutes a fact of environmental violation. According to the law, the Nantong Shu Hua Jie textile printing and Dyeing Group Co., Ltd. shall be ordered to immediately correct the illegal acts and take measures to restrict the production for one month, and shall not exceed the standard for discharging pollutants, and at the same time, the administrative penalty decision of 300 thousand yuan shall be fined.
