At present, the volume of trade in goods between China and the countries along the border has totaled more than 7 trillion and 500 billion US dollars and has become the largest trading partner of 25 countries. In the first 10 months of this year, trade in goods with the countries along the border was nearly US $1 trillion and 100 billion, an increase of 4.1% over the same period last year, which is higher than the overall growth rate of foreign trade in the same period.

Over the past 6 years, the "one belt and one way" economic and trade cooperation has yielded fruitful results. Apart from the continued expansion of trade scale, there are still several obvious characteristics:

Two-way investment has been deepened. Our enterprises invest about 110 billion US dollars in the countries along the border, and the total amount of newly signed contracts for foreign contracted projects exceeds US $750 billion. In the first 10 months of this year, the amount of direct investment in non-financial sectors of the countries along the border exceeded US $11 billion, and the amount of new contracts contracted for overseas projects exceeded US $110 billion. At the same time, the total amount of direct investment to China by the countries along the line has reached nearly 50 billion US dollars, and more than 2.1 foreign-funded enterprises have been set up. In the first 10 months of this year, the direct investment of the countries along the border to China was US $6 billion 100 million, and nearly 4500 foreign-funded enterprises were established.

Major projects have been steadily advancing. China and Piraeus old fellow railways and Zhongtai railways have made positive progress. The two major highway construction of China and Pakistan has been smoothly promoted, and the Sino Russian Heihe bridge has been successfully closed. The Sino Ni friendship bridge has been restored to traffic and the Khalifa port of UAE is officially operating.

New progress has been made in the construction of overseas economic and trade cooperation zones. The middle Bai Industrial Park has achieved initial success. The construction of the Luo Yong Industrial Park, the Pakistan Haoru Ba Industrial Park and the Hungarian Union economic and trade cooperation zone has achieved remarkable results. China's enterprises have invested 34 billion US dollars in the overseas economic and trade cooperation zone along the countries along the route, and about 4500 enterprises have entered the region. They have turned over to the host country for 2 billion 800 million US dollars, creating more than 300 thousand jobs for the local enterprises.

- speeding up the construction of the free trade area. China has signed 5 free trade agreements with 13 countries along the route. This year, we upgraded the FTA with ASEAN, Singapore and Chile, signed the FTA with Mauritius, entered into force with the second stage protocol of the Pakistan FTA, and ended negotiations with New Zealand on ending the FTA negotiations. The 15 member states of the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement (RCEP) ended the negotiations as a whole.

- the cooperation mechanism is more perfect. At present, China has signed 198 cooperation documents with 167 countries and international organizations to build "one belt and one road". It also established bilateral investment cooperation working group with 44 countries and set up a trade clearance working group with 7 countries to solve the problems arising from bilateral economic and trade cooperation and promote the development of economic and trade cooperation. We have established an electronic commerce cooperation mechanism with 22 countries, signed third party market cooperation agreements with many countries, and the circle of friends is growing.
