Market downturn, hiring situation will be more severe
Clothing and textile market is not good, ordinary staff and workers will be implicated. The lack of orders this year and the unsaturation of factory capacity mean that workers' working hours are reduced and production is reduced.
According to a dyeing factory worker, they are normally two shifts, 12 hours a day, more than 5000 per month, but now there are few machines. Working hours also became three shifts, and the last 12 hours were 24 hours' rest. The monthly working hours went down, and the income dropped to more than 3000 yuan per month. Although there is a lot of rest time, they come out to make money. If they can not earn money, it will be useless to rest any more.
At the beginning of each year, the first problem facing the garment factories is the recruitment problem. At the beginning of next year, the problem will be even more serious. Some workers chose to work elsewhere because of their large reduction in income in 2019, and little difference from their home jobs.
High salary recruitment is a gimmick.
Even though every year there is a high salary for garment factories, recruitment of workers is still difficult.
In addition, there is an unstable factor in the employment of garment and textile industry. Many enterprises have light and busy seasons. When the peak season comes, they will work overtime for over 10000 yuan, but there will be no minimum wage when the off-season comes. They may even be dismissed at any time.
Where is the future of garment and textile industry?
At present, China's clothing and textile industry generally has such problems as high cost of employment, difficult recruitment, and aging of employees. On the other hand, it is an urgent demand for manpower as a traditional labor-intensive enterprise, on the other hand, the wage income that workers do not match with labor costs. The intensification of the two contradictions has made many garment and textile enterprises find themselves in a dilemma.
