9 Dead And 13 Wounded! Official Announcement Of "12. 3" Sewage Tank Collapse In Haining, Zhejiang

At 17:19 on December 3rd, a sewage tank collapse accident occurred in Xu Cun town, Haining, Jiaxing. 9 people died, 4 were seriously injured and 9 were slightly injured.
After preliminary investigation, it was found that the accident was located in the waste water tank of Haining Longzhou printing and dyeing Co., Ltd., which is located in the dung Village Industrial Park of Haining, which collapsed in the cylindrical tank, 24 meters in diameter, and 30 meters in height, with a volume of about 13 thousand cubic meters. It crashed into adjacent parts of Haining dice color textile Co., Ltd. and Haining Yilong Textile Co., Ltd., resulting in the collapse of some factory buildings. Meanwhile, a large quantity of sewage in the tank was levitled to the workshop. The workers being worked in the factory were being dispersed by the sewage discharged. Some workers were injured due to the collapse of the cloth in the factory area, causing casualties.
At present, the cause of the accident is under further investigation.
