13 National Standards For Textile And Clothing Will Be Implemented Next Year.

The press industry learned that in June this year, the State Administration of market supervision and Administration (National Standardization Management Committee) approved 13 textile and apparel national standards, of which 6 were new standards and 7 were alternative standards. The 13 standards will be implemented in January 1, 2020.

The revision of GB/T 22853 - 2019 knitted sportswear fully takes into account the user's requirements for convenience and comfort in wearing clothes. The old standard is modified and complemented to make it more in line with the market demand of knitted sportswear at present. For example, the pilling performance, bursting strength, washing size change rate and some color fastness indexes are strictly enforced, and the requirements of moisture absorption and quick drying performance are increased.
