Xinjiang'S Cotton Prices Are Rising Steadily

According to the cotton monitoring database of Urumqi, Akesu and Bachu, Xinjiang cotton road transportation in Xinjiang has rebounded slightly in the past week or more than in the middle of December. The main part is "double 28/ double 29" (or length 29mm and above, fracture strength 27CN/TEX and above, grade 21/31/41).

On the one hand, at present, the price difference between Xinjiang cotton and xincotton in Xinjiang cotton warehouse is generally 300-400 yuan / ton, and the cotton processing enterprises in the territory are reluctant to sell high-quality and high-grade cotton, and the price is relatively strong. Therefore, some textile enterprises and traders who need replenishment demand before the Spring Festival vigorously purchase 2018/19 cotton spot or Chen cotton disk with Chen cotton warehouse receipt; on the other hand, a few of the local cotton ginning factories, which are bidding for the mainland reserve cotton warehouse, and traders in order to complete the storage contract in time and fully recover the payment, also use the way of driving out of Xinjiang. Although additional transportation costs are increased, the funds can be recovered 15-30 days in advance, and the financial cost can be reduced, so as to reduce the financial cost and meet the cash flow needs before the Spring Festival.

Several cotton trade enterprises in Henan, Shandong and other places have indicated that since December, the freight rate of cotton highways has continued to rise slightly, and some key flows have increased slightly (50-80 yuan / ton). The main reason is that at present, highway and railway transportation are gradually moving into the rhythm of spring transportation. Besides the mainland's "return vehicle", the willingness of the vehicles in the territory before the Spring Festival has dropped significantly.

From the survey, as of the end of December, the number of "double 29" hand picked cotton shops in the 2019/20 warehouse of the mainland in the end of December was very few (although a few cotton enterprises had quotations, but cotton was still in transit, not to the Library), and almost 80% of them were all agricultural one division resources, and the public settlement quotations were 14000-14250 yuan / ton; and the local "double 28" hand picked cotton traders offered a public offer of 13400-13600 yuan / ton; the "double 29" northern machine mining cotton price quotas were 13500-13700 yuan / ton (local enterprises processing), and the overall spot price of domestic cotton rose steadily.
