Zhejiang Deploys And Promotes Integration Of Yangtze River Delta To Create World-Class Port Group

On January 12th, the third session of the thirteenth Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Yuan Jun Jun, governor of Zhejiang Province, introduced the report on the work of the government. In 2020, Zhejiang will push forward the integrated development of the Yangshan mountains, promote the integration of the Yangtze River Delta port, and create world-class port groups, so as to promote the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.


The Yangtze River Delta is one of the most dynamic and open areas in China's economy. During the first Expo in 2018, the integration of Yangtze River Delta became a national strategy. In December 2019, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the "outline of the Yangtze River Delta regional integration development plan", which clarified the role and role of the Yangtze River Delta Urban Agglomeration in leading the regional economic development in the future.


In 2019, Zhejiang worked hard to implement the Yangtze River Delta integration strategy. Yuan Jia Jun introduced that Zhejiang took the lead in compiling and implementing the action plan to promote the Yangtze River Delta regional integration development, and started the construction of the Yangtze Delta eco green integration development demonstration area, and practically promoted the cooperation in key areas and the landing of major projects, thus forming a comprehensive participation situation in Zhejiang Province.


Taking the collaborative development of science and technology in key areas as an example, Zhejiang cooperated with other Yangtze River Delta provinces and municipalities to compile the "Yangtze River Delta science and technology innovation community development plan" to jointly promote the construction of G60 science and innovation corridor, the Yangtze River Delta science and technology resources sharing service platform trial operation, and the scope of general innovation of "innovation voucher" expanded further.


Yuan Jia Jun said that in 2020, Zhejiang will take the "four big" construction as a carrier to promote the integration of Yangtze River Delta development, work together to promote the Yangtze River Delta ecological green integration development demonstration area, push forward the comprehensive development of the Yangshan mountain area, promote the Yangtze River Delta joint innovation base, the digital Yangtze River Delta, the metropolitan area inter city rail and a large number of landmark projects, "highlight the government led, business entities, plan the implementation of the Ningbo Qian Qian Shanghai and Zhejiang cooperation and Development Zone, Jiaxing fully integrate Shanghai bridgehead, promote the construction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui Industrial Cooperation Zone, Pinghu Jinshan City integration exhibition area, and promote the coordinated development of the adjacent provinces."


In addition to the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, the province has also made new plans for the implementation of the marine economic development demonstration zone, the Zhoushan Jianghai multimodal transport service center and the China (Zhejiang) free trade pilot zone.


Take China (Zhejiang) free trade pilot area as an example, at present, the oil and gas reserve capacity of the free trade area reaches 31 million, and the supply of bonded fuel oil has exceeded 4 million tons. Zhejiang puts forward that in 2020, it will further promote the innovation and development of China (Zhejiang) free trade pilot area, complete the task of reforming three years of quality, and strive to build a demonstration area for cross border commodity trade internationalization of RMB, actively promote the expansion of the free trade area, expand the linkage with the new port area of Shanghai's FTA pilot area, speed up the construction of linked innovation zones in the province, and plan for the construction of a free trade port.
