US Cotton Export Weekly: US Cotton Contract Signing And Shipment Reduction With Shipment In China

According to the US Department of agriculture (USDA) report, in January 2nd December 27, 2019, the number of US cotton exports in the year of -2020 was 34 thousand and 500 tons, 38% less than the previous week, 33% less than that of the previous four weeks, the main buyers were Vietnam (22 thousand and 100 tons), Pakistan (5534 tons), Turkey (4309 tons), South Korea (3561 tons), Bangladesh (2903 tons), the abolition of contracts were India (4082 tons), Hongkong area of China (1565 tons), Nicaragua (884 tons). 2019/20 US land cotton export volume of 47 thousand and 900 tons, 6% less than the previous week, 2% higher than the mean of the previous four weeks, mainly shipped to Pakistan (13 thousand and 300 tons), Vietnam (12 thousand and 200 tons), China (7711 tons), Indonesia (2857 tons) and Turkey (2495 tons). In the year of 2020/21, the amount of us land cotton export contract was 1247 tons, the main buyers were Turkey (998 tons) and Vietnam (249 tons).

In December 27, 2019 -2020, January 2nd, the contract volume of the United States Pima cotton export was 1179 tons, a decrease of 66% over the previous week, and a decrease of 62% in the first four weeks. The main buyers were Pakistan (385 tons), India (363 tons), Vietnam (204 tons), Greece (158 tons) and Turkey (45 tons). In the year of 2019/20, the export volume of American Pima cotton was 1225 tons, 13% less than that of the previous week, 37% less than that of the previous four weeks, mainly shipped to Peru (453 tons), India (408 tons), Turkey (295 tons) and Thailand (45 tons).
