In January 8th, sericulture production in Qianjiang district will be held in 2020. The conference summed up the sericulture production in 2019 and made clear the goal of high quality development of sericulture industry in 2020. Liu Yi, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the District Committee and district government, chaired the meeting. It is understood that in 2019, 13 thousand and 140 mu of new mulberry plants were planted in the region, 7 million 884 thousand good seedlings, 1940 mu of low yield mulberry plants and 60 thousand and 13 cocoons yielding cocoons. The sericulture industry in the whole region showed cocoon production increased year by year, silkworm farmers' income continued to grow, the effect of sericultural industry on poverty alleviation was obvious, the quality of newly planted mulberry was obviously improved, the quality of grafting and transformation was improved obviously, the driving force of innovation was good, the silk industry developed well, and the diversified development pattern was good, "two growth, two obvious, three improvement and three good" development momentum.

Yao Denghui pointed out that all cocoons and townships and relevant departments must stand to consolidate the results of tackling poverty alleviation, resolutely win the battle against poverty, boost the Rural Revitalization and industrial development, and promote the political height of farmers' income and wealth. We should further unify our understanding, strengthen leadership, add measures and strengthen supervision, do a solid job in the "three winter" work, and lay stress on the implementation of the policy, and step by step, step by step, keep track of the stones, and seize the iron and seal, so as to ensure that the sericulture production in 2020 will go to a new level.
