How Can Textile Enterprises Save Themselves Under The Epidemic Crisis?
Since the resumption of the industry, global orders in the industry have been cancelled or delayed. The world-renowned fast fashion brands, including Spain ZARA, USA POLO, Holland C&A and Japan UNIQLO, have delayed or cancelled orders. The most fatal thing is: when domestic manufacturers have finished production, they are asked to suspend shipment. Take Linen Industry as an example, linen yarn is good, belongs to primary products, linen fabric is very embarrassed, color dyed, who will miss this season's fashionable color and sell out of color?
Under the global epidemic, enterprises are not immune. In this case, entrepreneurs need to convey the sense of crisis to the whole enterprise. The whole staff crisis consciousness is similar to our national anthem singing: our enterprise has arrived at the most dangerous time. In this way, we should unite as one mind and think to the point that it will be easier for us to do everything in a single place, including psychological preparation for reducing staff and reducing wages.
Firm confidence in industrial value
Taking flax industry as an example, flax is an organic and environmentally-friendly green product with excellent hygienic properties. It is natural and fashionable. After the outbreak, people will cherish life more and will be more interested in green, environmentally friendly, hygienic and fashionable natural products, and flax will become more popular. "Quality life" is the value created by our flax industry for consumers.
At present, in addition to adjusting our mindset, we need to explore from two aspects: first, the innovation of marketing mode; second, the extension of product line.
First of all, innovate marketing mode. Flax is an ancient industry. It can not completely subvert the traditional mode. It can only integrate new contents and bring new vitality to it, such as online offline interaction, export and domestic sales. The epidemic has become a catalyst to promote the domestic market of flax. We need to turn danger into opportunity, earnestly develop the domestic demand market, and use the new platform and new channels to enhance the share of the domestic market.
Next is stretching the product line. First, stretch the length of product line: linen yarn and linen fabric enterprises have great opportunities in the development of the terminal market; the two is to widen the product line: covering clothing, clothing, home textiles, cultural products and other consumer goods.
In terms of clothing, there is a shortage of high-end design talents, lack of funds and lack of brand names. Brand marketing is a long-term investment and can not be achieved overnight. This has been a weak link in our industry.
Personally, I think the trend of Chinese culture will be stronger after the epidemic, so Chinese clothing that has been popular in recent years will be hot. Linen is very compatible with Hanfu. This is our industry opportunity. In addition, linen is also very suitable for tea clothes, and there are many opportunities.
Home textiles, in the home textile market, flax home textiles has been our short board, accounting for a very low proportion, but this means that there is great room for development. There are already some flax home textile products in Jiangxi, a domestic enterprise, but they need to be strengthened in design and marketing. It is expected that there will be a domestic brand similar to Belgian LIBECO in China.
Creative products have great potential, including tourist articles, souvenirs, personalized packaging, canvas, stationery and so on. As we all know, in recent years, the Imperial Palace is very popular. We are also thinking that linen and linen yarn are involved in Wen Chuang, and in fact there is much room for making many things.
Self help, mutual aid and government help
For how to resist the current crisis, I think there are three main aspects: self rescue, inter enterprise rescue and government support.
In crisis, enterprises should first establish themselves, that is, to save themselves. There are many schemes for self-help. The most direct way is to protect money bags and reduce costs in various ways. At present, many foreign companies are cutting salaries and layoffs, and our industry is no exception. Enterprises need to establish a sense of collective crisis and tide over difficulties. But this is not the case. If we protect ourselves, it is not enough.
Therefore, we propose that enterprises should take a long-term view and take the initiative to help each other, help each other, and help each other, so that the industry can be linked together. Mutual aid means that every enterprise helps its upstream suppliers and downstream customers. Enterprises are so mutually saved, the industrial chain will not die, and the economy will gradually restore vitality.
In practice, enterprises can account for customers, normal 30 days, under the epidemic can be extended to 60 days or even 90 days. Of course, this must be based on mutual trust. The payment to the upstream seller should be paid, and it can not be procrastinating on the pretext of epidemic situation. If every enterprise can fulfill their commitments in this way, mutual support from the industrial chain will enable capital and products to flow. On the contrary, if the enterprise itself only enters itself into shock or vegetative state, the spring of the economy will not wake up.
Many people say that after the epidemic is over, they must have a good meal in their favorite restaurant. On the one hand, it is a long time delicacy, for the sake of helping others, and on the other hand is to support the restaurant that they like to live. Such a positive attitude is also suitable for the mutual rescue of enterprises in the industrial chain, and helping others is helping themselves.
To save ourselves, we must save each other. This is what our business can do. Of course, even if these two points are not enough, enterprises still need the help of the government.
It is not enough for enterprises to save themselves and to cooperate with each other. So how can the government help? We may refer to the practices of some countries in Europe and America. Cutting interest rates and reducing interest rates in finance can alleviate the pressure on enterprises to repay interest and repay loans. More direct and effective is economic subsidies.
After the outbreak, many countries in the world have introduced policies to help people and enterprises tide over difficulties. Each country has its own practice, such as France, which is most closely related to our linen industry, and a series of supporting policies proposed by Ma Long is relatively in place. France shouted the slogan "not to let a business be dragged down by the epidemic, nor to let a poor person die because of the epidemic." It is worth affirming that we should subsidize low-income people and provide substantive assistance to enterprises.
