Grey Cloth: Double Market Day

Most of the grey cloth orders are low, sales are slow and stock is rising. However, there are also some grey fabrics showing a trend of one price per day and in short supply.
In April 28th, a Zhejiang trader introduced that the volume of taffeta and spring Asia spinning was very large in recent years. The manufacturers said that the customers were at least hundreds of thousands of meters, and most of them were cash settled. Although the quotations of various factories are relatively confusing, the overall market price rise is unquestionable, even one price per day. For example, 210T polyester taffeta, in the middle of April, the mainstream quotation in Jiangsu and Zhejiang was 0.8-0.9 yuan / m, and in late April, most of the quotations had risen to 1 yuan / meter line, and even some individual manufacturers indicated that it would be up to 1.20 yuan / meter in early May.
Why is such a "adverse market" rising? According to analysis:
First, the price of raw materials has risen sharply. Shengze, Jiangsu, a mainstream factory polyester FDY half light up 100-200; Wuxi a factory FDY stable, negotiated; Taicang a factory polyester POY stable; Taicang another factory polyester POY stable.
Second, there is a big gap between supply and demand in the market.
As a substitute for non-woven fabrics, polyester taffeta and spring subwovens are used as protective clothing fabrics. Because of the serious shortage of non-woven fabrics and soaring prices, they are replaced by polyester taffeta and spring subwovens. In other words, the customers with strong capital are more willing to use non-woven fabrics as protective clothing. Although non-woven fabrics are not worth much money as polyester taffeta or spring Asian spinning, their antibacterial, breathable and comfortableness are stronger than those of polyester taffeta and spring spun yarn. Once the output of non-woven fabrics is coming up, the demand for spring sub spinning and polyester taffeta for protective clothing will also be greatly reduced.
To sum up, the reason why some grey cloth is hot is mainly because it can be used as a substitute for non-woven fabrics as protective clothing. Recently, overseas epidemic is becoming more and more serious, and the export of domestic anti epidemic materials has increased sharply, which has brought great benefits to some grey fabrics. It is expected that the spring of polyester taffeta and spring Asia will continue.
