According to customs statistics, the export volume of PET bottles in 2020 March was 336 thousand and 900 tons, and the total export volume in the first quarter was 667 thousand and 300 tons, down 196 thousand and 900 tons compared with the same period last year, down 22.78%. The average export price of PET bottles in March 2020 was 830.95 US dollars / ton, down 1.50% from the same period last year.

According to customs statistics, in the first quarter of 2020, the top three ranking countries of PET bottle export were different from those in 2019. The first export volume was 55 thousand and 700 tons in Philippines, accounting for 8.34%. The second place is India, with an export volume of 52 thousand and 100 tons, accounting for 7.81%. Chile is in the third place, with an export volume of 34 thousand and 800 tons, accounting for 5.21%. In the first quarter of 2019, the first place was India 87 thousand tons, accounting for 10.07%, second Philippines 47 thousand and 500 tons, accounting for 5.50%; Russian Federation ranked third 35 thousand and 600 tons, accounting for 4.11%. In contrast, the number of exports to India in 2020 was significantly reduced, mainly due to the impact of previous anti-dumping investigations.
