Special Committee On Energy Economy Held Seminar On Development Of Textile And Garment Industry Under The New Crown Epidemic Situation

The energy economic special committee of the Zhejiang electric power society organized a seminar on the development of textile and garment industry under the new crown epidemic situation in Hangzhou on the morning of May 5, 2020. Enterprises are also actively seeking transformation to cope with the crisis faced by enterprises by actively reducing costs and lowering unit price.

They fully exchanged the current impact and the future development direction of the textile industry. The participants from the professional point of view reduced the profit of the unit products currently restricting the development of the industry and demanded the quality of the products. Factors such as quantity upgrading and unit energy consumption increase were analyzed, and several major risk points, such as long-term persistence of the epidemic, international economic downturn and economic friction, were put forward to jointly contribute to the sustained and healthy development of the industry.
