UNIQLO's fast retailing group said in a statement Monday that UNIQLO will begin selling reusable masks in Japan on Friday. The mask will be targeted at performance and comfort. A set of three models will retail at a price of 990 yen (about 65 yuan).

Fast marketing group said that the decision to manufacture and sell masks is out of customer demand. And the sales plan for UNIQLO masks outside Japan will be announced after formal confirmation.

It is reported that UNIQLO has more than 2000 stores in the world, with annual sales of over $20 billion.
