Alibaba Retail Forest And Small Sea Will Take Over
According to reports, Lin Xiaohai, vice president of Alibaba and general manager of retail business, will take over RT Mart as CEO and report directly to Alibaba CEO Zhang Yong. Huang Mingduan still holds the post of chairman of Gao Xin retail CEO and Da Yun FA China.
Gao Xin retail is one of the largest commercial super stores in China. At present, it runs 486 supermarkets in the country with two brands of big RFA and Auchan. Among them, there are 414 stores in Da Yun FA. In November 2017, Ali invested HK $22 billion 400 million in Gao Xin retail, holding a total of 36.16% of its shares.
Public information shows that Lin Xiao Hai joined Ali in 2016. Next, Lin Xiaohai will be in charge of retail and Da Yun FA at the same time. The transition period will be about one year. According to people familiar with the matter, at present, Lin Xiaohai has been involved in Shanghai's RT business in half of the time, and has been managing retail outlets in Hangzhou for half of the time.
