Construction Of Cross Border E-Commerce Regulatory Zone In Shushan Economic Development Zone, Hefei

Recently, it is reported that the project of cross-border e-commerce supervision zone has been completed in Shushan Economic Development Zone of Hefei city and will be put into use soon. The total investment of the project is about 800 million yuan, covering an area of 83 mu, with a total construction area of 138000 square meters. It is also equipped with single buildings such as cross-border e-commerce big data center, customs clearance and tax service center and related ancillary projects.

The project will also form a cross-border e-commerce service base integrating "Customs", "foreign exchange", "tax" and other regulatory and service departments, as well as third-party agent operation services. At the same time, for customs, state tax, cross-border e-commerce enterprises in the park, they will also use information technology to optimize the process.

It is estimated that by 2022, Shushan core area of Hefei cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone will gather more than 1000 cross-border e-commerce enterprises and more than 10 offline parks, realizing a cross-border e-commerce import and export volume of more than 10 billion US dollars. Previously, according to the data of Hefei Economic Development Zone Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the number of cross-border e-commerce bonded import business has reached 55000 since this year.

It is understood that the Hefei cross-border e-commerce comprehensive service platform system has been officially put into operation in early December 2018, and the platform has two business modes of direct purchase import and bonded import. Up to now, Hefei Economic Development Zone has introduced more than 30 cross-border e-commerce platforms and related enterprises, such as child king, Jiangsu Zhongchuang supply chain and youjingtong.
