Vietnam'S Cotton Imports Fell For Three Consecutive Months And Textile And Clothing Exports Increased Sharply In June

According to the information provided by Vietnam Cotton Association, in June 2020, Vietnam's cotton import volume was 118000 tons, a decrease of 7.1% on a month on month basis, and a decline for the third consecutive month. From January to June, the total import cotton was 781200 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.6%.

In June, Vietnam's yarn export volume was 127200 tons, up 27.9% month on month. From January to June, 730500 tons of yarn were exported, a year-on-year decrease of 8.4%. Textile and clothing exports increased by 39.16 billion US dollars in the month. Exports of textiles and clothing decreased from 13.18 billion to 81.7 billion US dollars.
