Seminar On "Collaborative Innovation And Development Of Modern Sericulture And Silk Industry In Sichuan And Chongqing" Held In Nanchong

In order to fully implement the decision-making and deployment of the party and the state on vigorously promoting innovation driven development in the new period, as well as the major strategic plans of the Central Committee, Sichuan provincial Party committee and Chongqing Municipal Committee on "promoting the construction of double city economic circle in Chengdu Chongqing region", and building "sub polar core of double city economic circle in Chengdu Chongqing region" by Nanchong municipal Party committee, and give full play to the advantages of think tanks of national science and Technology Service Corps for modern sericulture and silk industry As well as the advantages of sericulture and silk industry in Sichuan and Chongqing, deepen the construction of modern sericulture and silk industry system, strengthen the cooperation between Sichuan and Chongqing, and further promote the diversified development of sericulture and silk industry. On August 5, the seminar on Sichuan Chongqing collaborative innovation and development of modern sericulture and silk industry, sponsored by the College of sericulture, textile and biomass science, Southwest University and Nanchong science and Technology Association, was successfully held in Nanchong. Li Zaiwei, member of the Standing Committee of Nanchong municipal Party committee and chairman of the Municipal Association for science and technology, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Chen Xiangping, vice president of China Silk Association and President of Sichuan Silk Association, and Professor Dai Fangyin, President of School of sericulture, textile and biomass science, Southwest University, made important speeches at the meeting. More than 40 persons in charge of sericulture departments of Sichuan Province and Chongqing Municipality, sericulture research and teaching units, provincial silkworm seed farms, Nanchong science and Technology Bureau, Municipal Commerce Bureau, Jialing district government, municipal silkworm management general station, municipal Cocoon Silk Association and Nanchong key silk enterprises attended the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Li Xinggui, Secretary of the Party group of Nanchong science and Technology Association.

Relying on the silk technology center of Sichuan and Chongqing, we will build a silk industry center with the theme of "Silk City of Sichuan and Chongqing" and build a silk industry center of Sichuan and Chongqing Exchange of views.
