According to data, from February to August this year, the number of mask factories in South Korea increased from 380 to 1090, and the number of factories nearly tripled in half a year. With the increase of mask manufacturers, the production capacity of masks is increasing. Recently, the average daily output of masks in South Korea has reached 80-90 million, which is more than double the demand. Due to the oversupply of masks, the price of masks dropped rapidly. There have been a lot of mask factory inventory backlog, involving the amount of tens of millions of yuan. At present, mask factories have begun to close down or suspend production.
