From January To October, Vietnam'S Cotton Imports Decreased Year On Year, And Textile And Clothing Exports Declined

According to the information provided by Vietnam cotton yarn Association, in October 2020, Vietnam's cotton import volume was 95100 tons, a decrease of 12.5% month on month. From January to October, 1.226 million tons of cotton were imported, a year-on-year decrease of 1.6%.

In October, Vietnam's cotton yarn export volume was 183100 tons, an increase of 9.7% month on month. From January to October, the total export volume was 1.3872 million tons, with a year-on-year decrease of 0.9%. In October, the export volume of textiles and clothing was US $2.561 billion, a decrease of 11.2% on a month on month basis. The cumulative export volume from January to October was $24.729.6 billion, down 9.4% year on year.
