Commemorating The 120Th Anniversary Of Qian Zhiguang'S Birth

This year marks the 120th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Qian Zhiguang, the older proletarian revolutionist and founder of new China's textile industry. The China Textile Industry Federation has decided to carry out a series of activities in the whole industry to carry forward the "spirit of textile light in the new era" - to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the birth of Comrade Qian Zhiguang.

On December 17, in memory of the 120th anniversary of Comrade Qian Zhiguang's birth, the seminar on carrying forward the "spirit of textile light in the new era" was held in Jiaxiang County, Shandong Province. The seminar aims to learn from Comrade Qian Zhiguang's pioneering spirit of "independence, self-reliance and hard work" and his work style of "scientific, rigorous and realistic". The purpose is to take the opportunity of commemorating the 120th anniversary of Qian Zhiguang's birth, inherit and carry forward Qian Zhiguang's entrepreneurial spirit, highlight and enhance the public welfare brand value of "textile light", and help the prosperity and development of textile science and education.

In his speech, sun Huaibin reviewed the glorious course of Comrade Qian Zhiguang and expounded the significance of carrying forward the spirit of textile light in the new era. Sun Huaibin put forward five vanguard exemplary spirits to learn from Comrade Qian Zhiguang, namely: loyalty to the party and safeguarding the overall situation; respecting talents and creativity; seeking truth from facts and benefiting the people's livelihood; self reliance and daring to be the first; working hard and being honest and upright. In his 70 years of revolutionary career, his noble moral character, revolutionary sentiment and brilliant achievements are worthy of being the vanguard model of the Communist Party of China, and the precious spiritual wealth of building a strong modern textile country at the intersection of two hundred years of history and opening up a new historical starting point.

As the representative of Comrade Qian Zhiguang's hometown, Ma Xiaoping, director of the party and government office of Zhuji Paitou middle school in Zhejiang Province, made a speech at the meeting. She affectionately recalled Qian Zhiguang's life and deeds, and introduced the indissoluble bond and precious memory between Qian Zhiguang and his alma mater, Paitou middle school. She said that Zhuji ranked 18th in the latest list of China's top 100 counties and cities in 2020, and among the major pillar industries contributing a lot, Zhuji's socks industry is particularly shining. Zhuji has become the world's largest socks manufacturing base. The prosperity and development of socks industry is a miniature of the development of Zhuji textile industry, and the development of Zhuji textile industry can not do without the support of national policies and the contribution of the older generation of textile people such as Qian Zhiguang. Ma Xiaoping said that as Mr. Qian's hometown, as Mr. Qian's alumni, and also as an educator in the new era, she will inherit and carry forward the fine traditions of her predecessors, constantly spur and motivate herself, so that more students can inherit and carry forward Qian's practical spirit of selfless dedication, seeking truth and pragmatism, daring to take responsibility and daring to innovate.

Qu Changgen, President of the school of Marxism of Zhejiang University of science and technology and a famous expert on red culture, gave a special lecture on "accurately understanding the spirit of textile light in the new era". From the concept, essence, core meaning and other elements of the Chinese revolutionary spirit, he introduced how to understand the essence and value function of the "light spirit of textile in the new era" in the new era, so as to trigger how to promote the high-quality development of textile industry by reading and learning the "light spirit of textile in the new era".

In order to promote the high-quality development of textile charity in the 14th Five Year Plan period, ye Zhimin, chairman of textile light science and technology education foundation, and Xing guanlei, President of China Textile Workers' Ideological and Political Work Research Association (China Textile Enterprise Culture Construction Association), signed an agreement on comprehensive strategic cooperation to promote the high-quality development of textile science and education charity in the 14th Five Year Plan period.

In his speech, Chen Weikang recalled, remembered and affirmed Comrade Qian Zhiguang's immortal historical contributions to opening up the development path of China's textile industry. He stressed that we should vigorously carry forward the "spirit of textile light in the new era" with "loyalty and responsibility, integrity and innovation, science and education first, and textile dedication" as its basic connotation. "The light spirit of textile in the new era", inherited from the red gene, bathed in the spring breeze of reform and shared in the new machine of the times, is the precious spiritual wealth of China's textile industry, and will always be a powerful spiritual power to encourage all textile workers to overcome all difficulties and obstacles and strive for building a modern textile power.

Chen Weikang further explained that its basic spiritual connotation is loyalty. Loyalty to the party, love the people and serve the motherland are the basic moral character of textile workers who practice the spirit of textile light in the new era. People's livelihood as the foundation, power as the priority, and responsibility as the obligation and mission are the internal driving force of Chinese textile people to promote high-quality development. The second is to keep the integrity and innovate. Seeking truth and pragmatism is the traditional conduct of textile people, and keeping integrity and innovation is the fine character of textile people. Textile workers abide by the right path, serve the textile industry, keep pace with the times, carry out innovation in concept, mechanism and management, and take positive innovation as the power source to promote the prosperity of textile science and education. Third, science and education should be emphasized. Science and technology is the first productive force in the development of textile industry, and education is the talent cornerstone of building a strong textile country. It is the eternal pursuit of textile people to promote the progress of science and technology, lead the growth of talents, promote industrial upgrading and boost the construction of textile power. The fourth is to offer textile. Clothing and brocade is the natural endowment of textile people. Textile charity is handed down from generation to generation, science and technology and education are the key, and talents and funds are the support.
