Installation Of 6 Signs In Zhengzhou Textile Industry Base

In order to further strengthen the protection and management of cultural relics, the Central Plains culture, tourism and Sports Bureau recently completed the installation of six protection signs in Zhengzhou Textile Industrial base, a municipal cultural protection unit.

It is understood that Zhengzhou Textile industry base is located in the area west of Songshan Road, east of Qinling Road, north of Jianshe Road and south of Longhai Railway in Central Plains District. There are five cotton textile mills in Zhengzhou, including No.1, No.3, No.4, No.5 and No.6, covering an area of about 2.5 square kilometers. Taking the cotton spinning factory as the center, Lubei is the production area of five factories and Lunan is the living area. The production area is located in the north to the south, and each factory is composed of gate, office building, workshop and warehouse, covering a total area of 6 million square meters. The original appearance of zhengmian No.3 Factory is well preserved. The living area is mainly the staff residence and supporting facilities, and a archway gate is built at the north side of Jianshe Road corresponding to each factory. In June 2009, Zhengzhou Textile Industrial Base was rated as a municipal cultural relic protection unit.

This time, there are 6 monuments, including 5 cotton mills, including No.1, No.3, No.4, No.5 and No.6, and the production area (north side of Mianfang Road) of Zhengzhou guomian No.3 Factory. The remaining buildings mainly include office building, workshop and gate.
