Regional Economy: Rapid Recovery Of Vietnam Textile Export
Vietnam's "Customs online" reported on July 13 that, according to the latest news of Vietnam Textile Group (VINATEX), in the first six months of this year, textile exports reached nearly 19 billion US dollars, with a year-on-year growth of more than 20%, even exceeding the same period in 2019.
This proves that Vietnam's textile industry has actually recovered earlier than expected until the end of 2021 or even the third quarter of 2022 to return to its level in 2019.
Li Qianchang, chairman of the board of directors of VINATEX, said that in the first six months of this year, there was a positive recovery in the total demand of the world market. After a year of serious shortage of orders, the increase in demand led to an increase in textile trading volume, which brought a long-term and large number of orders for most enterprises.
Textile export recovery is not only due to the growth of demand, but also to the transfer of supply chain. India, Bangladesh, Cambodia and other textile export countries are greatly affected by the epidemic, and enterprises can not operate normally. At the same time, Vietnam had a good situation of epidemic prevention and control until the end of April this year, and enterprises could promote production at full speed.
