On July 20, Zheng Jiewen, vice president of China Cotton Textile Industry Association, came to Huarong to investigate the production and operation, transformation and upgrading of textile enterprises. Accompanied by relevant responsible persons of the County Bureau of industry and information technology, management committee of high tech Industrial Development Zone and textile and garment industry chain office.

Textile industry is one of the pillar industries in Huarong County. There are 75 textile enterprises in the county, including 37 Textile Enterprises above the designated scale. There are 980000 ring spinning spindles, 7000 rotor spinning units, 1655 looms (including 1556 shuttleless looms), and 12 non-woven fabric (Spunlaced and melt blown) production lines.

At present, Huarong textile has 9 famous trademarks such as Tiandiao and 2 famous brand products of Hunan Province, such as "beautiful baby". In 2020, the county will produce 215000 tons of yarn, 4000 tons of non-woven fabrics, 5.8 million sets of children's clothing, 3.1 million pairs of children's shoes, 3.7 million pieces of ready-made clothes, and 6000 tons of exported napkins. The total output value of the industry will reach 14.97 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 18.6%. In the first half of this year, the total industrial output value of the county's textile and garment enterprises reached 6.28 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.81%.

At the forum, Zheng Jiewen said that Huarong County's textile industry has a good foundation, superior location advantages, obvious industrial agglomeration, scale effect, and large development space and potential. All textile enterprises in the county should, according to the market demand and the actual situation of enterprises, avoid homogeneous competition, make differentiated and distinctive products, gradually improve the intelligent level of equipment, enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, actively create "green factories", and expand and strengthen Huarong textile industry.
