At present, there are five large-scale production and processing enterprises of industrial hemp in Suihua City, forming a relatively complete industrial chain from beating hemp and combing hemp to spinning and weaving. In order to improve the project carrying capacity of industrial hemp Industrial Park, Qinggang county has built a 2.47 square kilometer hemp Industrial Park. In 2021, Qinggang County applied for bond funds to construct the infrastructure construction project of industrial hemp Industrial Park. The project covers an area of 180000 square meters, and the project investment is estimated to be 200 million yuan. It is reported that the project site is located in the south of Mingshui County, with a total area of 600000 square meters. The area of hemp planting base is determined to be 500000 mu. In 2022, the planting area will be 60000 mu, including 20000 mu of organic hemp, which will increase year by year. The planting area will reach 500000 mu in 2024. The first phase of the project will invest 500 million yuan to build hemp pectin, hemp pulp and hemp fiber processing and production workshops, and other project production workshops will be built year by year, and all of them will be completed and put into operation in 2025.
