A few days ago, the Ministry of industry and information technology announced the "2022 elderly products promotion catalog.". Among them, Ningbo Boyang Clothing Group Co., Ltd., joy Home Textile Co., Ltd., Shanghai Hengyuanxiang Household Textile Co., Ltd., Luolai life science and Technology Co., Ltd., and Nanfang bedding Technology Co., Ltd. were selected.
The Ministry of industry and information technology (MIIT) launched the work of "promotion catalogue of products for the aged in 2022", which aims to implement the guiding opinions on promoting the development of elderly products industry and promote the promotion and application of high-quality products for the elderly. One of the important items is the clothing and daily products for the elderly.
According to the latest forecast of China population and Development Research Center, the number of elderly people aged 60 and above will reach 321 million in 2025 and 400 million in 2032. The aging population has brought about changes in consumption structure, and the clothing market for the elderly also ushered in a window period. However, compared with other age groups, the development of China's elderly clothing industry is not mature, the effective supply is obviously insufficient, and the market potential of silver hair needs to be further explored.
