Customs Data: The Export Of Wool Textile And Woolen Fabric Was Flat From January To September
According to the statistics of China Customs, from January to September, the total export volume of wool textile raw materials and products totaled 9.36 billion US dollars, which was flat on a year-on-year basis.
The products with high proportion of animal fiber such as wool grew faster. The export value of wool textile products increased by 19%, while that of cashmere based products increased by 22%. From the product category, the export growth rate of combed wool fabric is still at a high level, with a year-on-year growth of 77.6%.
In the first three quarters, imports of wool totaled 219000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%. The total export value was 1.75 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 8.7%. The average import price fell quickly. In September, the monthly import of 25000 tons decreased by 4% month on month. The average import price in September was 7.6 US dollars / kg, down 3% month on month.
