The Total Import And Export Volume Of China'S Wool Textile Raw Materials And Products Declined From January To October

From January to October this year, the total import and export amount of wool textile raw materials and products reached 14.1 billion US dollars, down 5.3% year on year. Among them, the total export value was US $10.4 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3.5%, and the total import value of US $3.7 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 10.1%.

The United States, the European Union, ASEAN and Japan are still the main export markets of wool textile products, and the proportion of exports is further increased. From January to October, the total amount of wool textile raw materials and products exported to the United States, the European Union, ASEAN and Japan totaled US $6.58 billion, accounting for 63.2%, an increase of 2.7 percentage points over the same period last year. In the first 10 months of 2022, the total export to the regions along the belt and road totaled US $4.42 billion, a year-on-year increase of 42.5%, and an increase of 3.1 percentage points over the same period last year.

From January to October, the export of wool fabrics still maintained a rapid growth, with an export of 61.06 million meters, a year-on-year increase of 42%, and a total export of 430 million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 2%. During the same period, the export unit price of wool sliver increased rapidly, with an average export unit price of 12000 US dollars / ton, up 34% year on year.

From January to October, imports of wool accumulated 240000 tons, down 2% year-on-year. The average import unit price was 7925 US dollars / ton, down 5% year on year.
