Tianjin University Of Technology Successfully Hosted The Second World Textile And Clothing Education Conference

From November 18 to 20, the second world textile and clothing education conference, under the guidance of China Textile Industry Federation, sponsored by China Textile and clothing education association and hosted by Tianjin University of technology, was held in Tianjin. More than 4800 teachers and students from universities at home and abroad, including North Carolina State University in the United States, Ghent University in Belgium, Catalonia Polytechnic University in Spain and other domestic and foreign universities, conducted in-depth discussions on such topics as "the current situation and development trend of textile and clothing education", "internationalization of textile and clothing education", "talent training mode of textile and clothing" and "teaching reform of textile and garment education". During the conference, 31 reports were held in the main venue and three sub venues. In the report on November 19, the reform and practice of first-class engineering and technical personnel training in Tianjin University of technology under the background of "new engineering" were introduced.

At the conference, Professor Jing Miaoli from the school of textile science and engineering of Tianjin University of technology gave a report entitled "exploration and practice of the transformation and upgrading of textile specialty in universities with double first-class construction", and Professor Hu Yanli gave a report entitled "innovation and practice of virtual simulation experimental teaching system for textile specialty based on information technology", Professor Liu Yong made a report entitled "from the world of clothing and quilt" to "the world of weaving" -- the construction and practice of the training system for textile professional degree postgraduates.
