HUISHAN ZHANG's autumn and winter 2023 series continues the past exploration of romance and elegance. Designer Zhang Huishan uses more fluorescent colors this season, bringing vitality to the city in spring and summer.

The new cheongsam with more minimalist charm and the dress with asymmetric tailoring integrate the traditional Chinese cheongsam into the new series, as well as the inspiration from Wong Kar wai's science fiction film 2046.

The functional zipper in the spring and summer series has become a new decoration and also a symbol element to simplify the clothing language. The zipper details with tooling colors enable women to find a comfortable switch between daily and grand in the wardrobe.

Zhang Huishan, a Chinese designer, founded his own brand Huishan Zhang of the same name in 2007. His work "Dragon Dress", as a permanent collection in the T.T. TSUI display, was collected by the British V&A Museum, making him the first Chinese designer to win this honor.

Zhang Huishan, the designer, graduated from Central Saint Martin College in London, was personally selected by Delphine Arnault, the eldest daughter of LVMH Group, to practice in DIOR Advanced Customization Workshop when she was a student. After graduation, she founded a personal brand of the same name.

After studying abroad and receiving affirmation from fashion buyers, Zhang Huishan decided to return to China and open his own design studio in Qingdao.
