　　 Recently, Zhongfu Shenying (688295), a leading A-share carbon fiber enterprise, announced that the company plans to set up a wholly-owned subsidiary Zhongfu Shenying Carbon Fiber Lianyun Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shenying Lianyun") in Lianyun District, Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province to build a "30000 ton/year high-performance carbon fiber construction project", with a total planned investment of 5.962 billion yuan.

　　 Specifically, the construction content of the project is a high-performance carbon fiber project with an annual output of 30000 tons, and the construction of multiple polymerization units, precursor production lines, carbonization production lines and supporting projects. The relevant responsible person of Zhongfu Shenying said that the project is to further meet the urgent needs of domestic key fields for high-performance carbon fiber, ensure the localization of key raw materials, and better promote the healthy development of the carbon fiber composite industry chain. This time, the company will invest in the construction of a 30000 t/a high-performance carbon fiber construction project. It will manufacture high-performance carbon fiber products based on the full set of production technologies of T700, T800 and above high-performance carbon fibers systematically mastered by the company, as well as the significant technical advantages of the company in the field of dry jet wet spraying, so as to better meet the needs of domestic and foreign markets, and improve the overall comprehensive strength of the company, It is of great significance to expand the market share.

　　 Founded in 2006, Zhongfu Shenying, affiliated to China Building Materials Group, is a national high-tech enterprise integrating research, development, production and sales of carbon fiber and composite materials. Zhongfu Shenying has built production bases in Lianyungang, Xining and research and development bases in Shanghai, and its production capacity ranks first in China. At present, Zhongfu Shenying System has mastered the T700, T800, M30, M35 kiloton technologies, and T1000, M40 hundred ton technologies. It has taken the lead in realizing the key technology breakthrough and core equipment localization of dry jet wet spinning in China, and has built the first kiloton dry jet wet spinning carbon fiber industrial production line in China. Zhongfu Shenying carbon fiber products are widely used in aerospace, pressure vessels, carbon carbon composites, wind power blades, transportation construction, sports and leisure and other fields, basically achieving benchmarking with major carbon fiber models in Toray, Japan, and achieving variety coverage of various types of carbon fibers with high strength, high strength medium model, and high strength high model.

From the perspective of the pace of capacity expansion, as of June 2022, the capacity of Zhongfu Shenying will be 14500 tons/year. The Xining Phase II expansion project is expected to be fully put into production in the first half of 2023, when the capacity will reach 28500 tons/year, doubling year on year. With the promotion and reaching the capacity of this 30000 t/a high-performance carbon fiber construction project, the capacity of Zhongfu Shenying is expected to be close to 60000 t/a.

　　 It is reported that compared with wet spinning, dry wet spinning can carry out high spinneret stretching, and the spinning speed is 3-4 times that of wet spinning, which significantly improves production efficiency and reduces costs. At present, most domestic carbon fiber manufacturing enterprises still focus on wet spinning process. Zhongfu Shenying is the first in China to break through the industrial manufacturing technology of dry jet wet spinning of thousand ton carbon fiber precursor. The company now has a single line scale of 5000 tons/year for precursor preparation and 3000 tons/year for carbon fiber, making it the world's largest single line production line for high-performance carbon fiber. Taking advantage of the advanced dry jet wet spinning technology and low cost in the industry, Zhongfu Shenying is expected to take the lead in achieving domestic substitution under the situation of limited imports and market demand exceeding supply.

At present, overseas carbon fiber imports still account for more than 50%, and domestic substitution space is huge. Benefiting from the continuous increase in the demand for domestic large aircraft mass production, wind and solar storage and other fields, the domestic carbon fiber market space will also continue to open. The industry expects that the domestic carbon fiber demand will be 159200 tons in 2025.
