This morning, the Dalang Woolen Weaving Industry College was officially inaugurated and operated, providing a strong support for further output of outstanding applied talents and inheritance of woolen culture.

Lin Yuanyuan, deputy mayor of the town, and relevant principals from the Town Woolen Weaving Management Committee, the Creative Design Institute of East Vocational College, Xiangwei Community, and Guanghui Knitting Co., Ltd. attended the unveiling ceremony and jointly inaugurated the Dalang Woolen Weaving Industry College.

It is understood that in September 2020, the People's Government of Dalang Town signed a cooperation framework agreement with Dongguan Vocational and Technical College to jointly build "Dalang Woolen Garment Industry College". Through multiple site selection of East Vocational College, we reached an operation consensus with Guanghui Knitting at the end of 2022. Through industry university research cooperation, we train and deliver more than 30 new design majors for Dalang Knitting every year.

Over the years, the Party committee and government of Dalang Town have attached great importance to the training and introduction of wool design talents, holding wool design competitions, fashion trends, and annual designer meetings every year. Dalang Woolen Weaving Industry College will continue to effectively play the role of talent training and transportation, and jointly promote the high-quality development of Dalang Woolen Weaving in the past and design oriented industrial clusters.
