"The textile industry will increase its research and development efforts in cutting-edge materials, high-end equipment, advanced technology, intelligent manufacturing and other fields, and strengthen international scientific and technological cooperation. At the same time, it will consolidate the foundation of industrial manufacturing, attract global high-quality industrial resources with China's domestic demand market, and deeply participate in the layout of global productivity." Over the years, the textile industry has actively integrated into the "Belt and Road" construction and actively gone global. It has established an industrial image of "innovation driven technology industry, culture led fashion industry, responsibility oriented green industry", and outlined the industrial vision of "the main driver of world textile technology, an important leader of global fashion, and a strong promoter of sustainable development".
China's textile industry is an important force to serve the global market and ensure industrial stability. Sun Ruizhe introduced that in 2021, China will provide about 3.8 kg of textile products per capita to overseas markets. From 2000 to 2021, the world's per capita consumption will increase from 9.2 kg to 15.2 kg, and China's contribution to the incremental supply will be 83%.
From 2020 to 2022, the textile industry has exported more than 300 billion dollars for three consecutive years, contributing more than 50% to the growth of the world's total textile and clothing exports. The three terminal structures of clothing, home textiles and industrial textiles are more balanced. The export volume of household textiles in 2022 is 1.9 times that in 2013; The export volume of industrial textiles increased by 1.3 times over 2013. While the proportion of garment exports in the industry has declined, the category has become more abundant and the quality has significantly improved.
At the same time, China's textile enterprises began to take the initiative in the global layout as their strength improved. According to incomplete statistics, the stock of foreign investment in the textile industry has exceeded 11 billion dollars, and projects are distributed in more than 100 countries and regions. Investment involves all links of the industrial chain. Among them, cotton textile and garment processing "went out" earlier, with a large stock scale. The transnational allocation of production capacity in printing and dyeing, home textile, chemical fiber and other fields has begun to take shape, and the international development of industrial textile industry is accelerating.
At present, the textile industry is moving towards "capital going global" and "brand going global". Enterprises integrate raw material resources, design resources, R&D and technical resources, brand and channel resources through overseas mergers and acquisitions. For example, in the aspect of "brand going global", Bosiden has integrated Chinese clothing culture and original design with international standards. Its products have been sold in more than 400 brand collection stores in eight European countries, becoming a model for the transformation from "Made in China" to "Chinese brand".
Xu Yingxin, Vice President of the China Textile Industry Federation and President of the Textile Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, introduced that over the years, the China Textile Industry Federation has taken measures such as setting up a multilateral and bilateral international exchange forum and cooperation mechanism for the textile industry, holding large-scale exhibitions of the whole industry chain at home and abroad, and holding investment recommendation conferences for key countries, It has effectively improved the recognition of Chinese textile and clothing enterprises on the investment environment of jointly building the "Belt and Road" countries. In August this year, China Textile Federation released the Action Plan for Building a Modern Textile Industry System (2022-2035), calling on and guiding the whole industry to participate in the "Belt and Road" cooperation at a high level in the next decade.
Sun Ruizhe believes that at present, the global textile industry has entered a period of transformation, and the industry is facing realistic pressure, including the current prominent problems such as the slowdown of world economic growth and insufficient demand in the terminal market.
The reporter learned that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will promote the green, low-carbon and recyclable development of the textile industry, cultivate well-known textile brands and expand the space for industrial development. Zong Ruilong said that in the next stage, the textile industry should focus on the primary task of promoting high-quality development, and constantly promote the continuous improvement of the industry operation and the increasing endogenous power.
"We should use digital technology to innovate the brand cultivation mode. Leading enterprises should focus on building consumer brands and manufacturing brands, and industrial clusters should focus on building regional brands to help small and medium-sized enterprises in clusters improve their quality and upgrade. We should promote the research, development, preparation and quality improvement of functional chemical fibers; expand the application of industrial textiles; and promote the refinement and high quality of natural fiber products such as cotton, wool, linen, silk, etc Value oriented, enriching the supply source of textile raw materials. " Zong Ruilong said.
Sun Ruizhe said that it is necessary to explore the integration of traditional culture and modern culture with textile fashion, and improve the design ability, brand value and fashion ecology; Build a green low-carbon cycle system that runs through the whole industrial chain of materials, technology and consumption; Form a pattern of cross regional coordinated development and coordinated development of the textile industry; Promote the integration and application of artificial intelligence, industrial Internet, big data, industrial robots, etc. in the textile industry.
