Data Analysis Of China'S Textile Industry In The First 10 Months Of Operation

From January to October, the industrial added value of textile enterprises above designated size dropped 1.9% year on year, and the operating revenue was 3792 billion yuan, down 2.5% year on year; The total profit was 119.9 billion yuan, down 5.5% year on year. The output of yarn, cloth and clothing of enterprises above designated size decreased by 1.2%, 4.2% and 10.1% respectively year on year, while the output of chemical fiber increased by 8.8% year on year.

From January to October, the retail sales of consumer goods of units above the designated size nationwide totaled 14474.2 billion yuan, up 6.1% year on year. Among them, the retail sales of clothing, shoes and hats, knitwear and textiles of units above the designated size grew 10.2% year on year, and the retail sales of online clothing goods of physical goods grew 7.6% year on year.

From January to October, China's textile and clothing exports totaled US $245.7 billion, down 9.2% year on year, including US $23 billion in October, down 4.8% year on year.
