Huancui District Was Selected As The Provincial Demonstration County Of "Three Products" In Light Industry And Textile Industry

Recently, the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the list of "three quality" demonstration counties (cities, districts) and demonstration enterprises in Shandong light industry and textile industry in 2023. Huancui District of Weihai City was rated as the "three quality" demonstration county in Shandong light industry and textile industry, and three enterprises, Dishang Group, Sanyang Clothing and Yinfeng Textile, were rated as the "three quality" demonstration enterprises in Shandong light industry and textile industry in 2023.

Provincial light industry and textile industry digital "three products" demonstration counties (cities and districts) focus on five aspects: good industrial foundation, strong variety creation ability, strong quality improvement ability, strong brand creation ability, and excellent industrial development environment. Huancui District seized the opportunity of industrial transformation and development to cultivate 19 provincial industrial design centers, 152 innovative SMEs, such as Shanhua Carpet and Global Fishing Gear. In 2022, a total of 41 projects were included in the provincial technological innovation project plan. We continued to promote the digital transformation of enterprises, built provincial intelligent factories, provincial digital workshops, etc., and 62 light industry and textile enterprises were approved as provincial "specialized, special, and new" SMEs. In terms of brand building, the fishing tackle industry in Huancui District has formed a symbiosis of multiple industries due to its high concentration, good growth and strong innovation ability, forming a competitive advantage with regional characteristics. Last year, the light industry and textile cluster enterprises in Huancui District contributed 37% of the operating income of industrial enterprises above the designated size of the district.

In recent years, Weihai has attached great importance to the digital "three products" work in the light industry and textile industry, focusing on the digital transformation of the industry, focusing on leading textile and clothing enterprises such as Dishang Group and Lianqiao Group, supporting enterprises to firmly grasp the main axis of digital transformation, and promoting the high integration of big data, the Internet, new technology and new formats with traditional industries. By building an intelligent management platform and a vertical ecological supply chain platform, the company has completed the magnificent transformation from a traditional enterprise of processing with supplied materials to a digital enabling platform enterprise. While realizing cost reduction and efficiency increase, the company has also promoted the resource, efficiency and benefit multiplication of the whole industry. At present, there are 147 industrial enterprises above designated size in Weihai's textile industry, whose products mainly cover clothing, household textiles, carpets, leather products, industrial textiles, etc. In 2022, Weihai's textile and clothing industry cluster will be selected into the list of "Top Ten" industrial "wild goose formation" clusters in the province.
